Elastic bands. Isabel has lived in the Eixample district of Barcelona all her life and she has always gone to the Joan Miró sports centre, where everyone knows her. Four years ago, when she appeared in the gym in a wheelchair, instructors and staff at the centre thought she had had a motorcycle accident, a lover, as she was, of speed and risk. They didn't know she had suffered a coma, after a sepsis, while going undersurgery. Isabel remembers she went by motorbike to the hospital and left by wheelchair. Isabel ha vivido en el barrio del Eixample (Barcelona) toda la vida y hace muchos años que va al Centre Esportiu Joan Miró, donde todo el mundo la conoce. Cuando hace cuatro años, apareció en el gimnasio en silla de ruedas, monitores y personal del centro creyeron que había tenido un accidente de moto, amante como era de la velocidad y el riesgo. Desconocían que había sufrido un coma inducido, después de una sepsis, durante una operación de divertículos. Ella misma recuerda que llegó al hospital con su moto y salió en silla de ruedas.
